'Glee' 2.15 Preview: 'Sexy' Gwyneth Paltrow Is Back

Gwyneth Paltrow is back on "Glee", so is John Stamos. When free-spirited substitute teacher Holly Holiday fills in for the absent sex-education teacher, she joins forces with Mr. Schuester to teach the kids of New Directions the facts of life. Meanwhile, Emma heads up the Celibacy Club, and she and Dr. Carl address some issues in their personal life.

"Sexy" is the title of the March 8 episode, referring to the sexy sex ed substitute. Matthew Morrison previously dished out that his character Will sings a duet with Holly on Prince's "Kiss" while doing a steamy tango which ends up with, surprise surprise, a kiss.

"I'll keep that to myself," Morrison said about kissing Paltrow. "Seriously, she's become such a good buddy of mine. I have the biggest place in my heart for this woman. So it's kind of weird now because I'm making out with my buddy!"

Meanwhile, Stamos' return would be marked with a duet with Mark Salling's Puck. "Either me and @Mark_Salling lost a bet (outfits) or it's the FIRST look pic from 'sexy' GLEE ep. airing march 8th," Stamos tweetedand posted a scene where he plays the drums. The actor has frequently guest-drummed for The Beach Boys.

By JODY THOMPSON

Ready for their close up: Only Way Is Essex stars Sam Faiers, left, and Amy Childs, right, make their way from the make-up trailer to Faces nightclub

They've become famous for simply going about their real lives with a little help from judiciously-placed scripts and a camera crew - but could The Only Way Is Essex stars be about to reveal hitherto unseen talents?

The ITV2 show stars have been busy all day filming a promo for the new series at the county's notorious Faces nightclub in Gants Hill - and it's said to be a Glee-style music video.

The title of the song they're covering is being kept tightly under wraps however, nor is it known if show band Lola are making an appearance.

'The Bachelor' Sends Home Shawntel, Takes Trip to Africa

Funeral director Shawntel Newton probably scares "The Bachelor" Brad Womack off with her family's business. The 25-year-old was sent home after the hometown visit where Shwantel gives him a tour in the parlor and tells him that she embalms dead people.

Shawntel has admitted in the past two episodes that she is falling in love with Brad and definitely sees a husband figure in him. Brad however didn't seem too comfortable when he finds out that Shawntel is really into her job and her dad intends to hand over the business to her, meaning Shawntel may have to stay in Chico.

After the rose ceremony, Brad sat Shawntel down and told her how much he cared for her. But he didn't feel right when she told him she was falling for him. Shawntel cried in the limo and said her final words, "I'll miss him."

The three remaining girls, Chantal, Emily and Ashley will next week go to South Africa for a trip in the wilderness. "I'm feeling the romance," Brad said in the preview which also teases the moment Emily confronts Brad about her five-year-old son.

'Gossip Girl' 4.17 Preview: Dair Is Happening

Next on "Gossip Girl", Ben's mother comes to town, forcing issues to the surface between Ben and Serena. Russell Thorpe is determined to destroy Chuck's family legacy, but he risks alienating his daughter, Raina, in the process.

But this episode is focused largely on Blair's romantic life. The last time viewers saw of "Dair", Blair let her guards down in time of crisis and Dan came out a hero for her. Next week, Blair is faced with the fact that she is having a relationship with the "lonely boy" from Brooklyn, just right on time when Chuck would like to have 'a word' with her.

"I like that friendship," Leighton Meester talked about Blair and Dan to MTV earlier this year. "I can't tell you [what's going to happen]. I don't know, I like working with Penn [Badgley], and so that's been very fun. And I think they're good for each other in a lot of ways, in a way that Chuck and Blair aren't."

Moreover, Zap2It previously reported that somebody else in Blair's life will return. Hugo Becker will be reprising his role as Prince Louis after the show's six-week's hiatus. Louis is the guy who bonded with Blair while in Paris and whom she left for distance reason.

"Empire of the Son" airs February 28 and the show will return after 6 weeks.

Report: Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole Leave U.K. 'X Factor'

The judges have allegedly announced their departure to ITV because they feel they won't have enough time to juggle both the U.K. and U.S. versions.

Simon Cowell is really channeling all his energy to the American version of "The X Factor". The music mogul has reportedly informed ITV of his resignation as the judge on the U.K. show, effective from the upcoming season. "The X Factor (US)" will premiere in September this year.

Cowell allegedly told ITV chief Peter Fincham, "I'm committed to the American show and I'm not going to do both." And Cowell won't be the only one because Cheryl Cole, who is reportedly on Cowell's list as his partner for the U.S. version, is also making an exit.

A source told News of the World that the network is concerned about the departure of these two, saying "There will be massive shake-up. Simon is a huge, huge loss. He gives the judging panel such authority and there are big fears that millions will switch off without him. And two million extra viewers tuned in when Cheryl joined the panel. To lose her as well is a nightmare."

Furthermore, ITV is making sure that Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh will not follow the same route by cranking up their salaries up to BPS1.2 million. Also, the network has been looking for a replacement, and two names which have popped up on their list are Robbie Williams and Adele.

'Desperate Housewives' 7.16 Preview: Searching

Susan learns that her dialysis isn't working and that, if she doesn't receive a kidney transplant soon, she will die.

Again, Susan gets the biggest spotlight in the next episode of "Desperate Housewives" with her medical condition. Susan vows to get the most out of life when she learns that her dialysis isn't working and that, unless she receives a kidney transplant soon, she will die.

"We have that conversation where the doctor says, 'We're trying to find you a kidney but if there's anything you really want to do, do it now'," James Denton who plays Mike said. "They try not to panic but make a little bucket list and live a little more, which is fun. You can only have so much of drug addictions, comas and hit-and-runs."

Meanwhile, Bree makes it her mission to find a kidney donor for Susan. "I thought they solved it very well," Denton continued, referring to the writers. "I've been wondering how they were going to find somebody interesting to donate the kidney, because clearly they're not going to let Susan die. So yeah, they found a nice, dark, interesting way to come up with a kidney!"

Also in the episode, jealous of Lee and Bob's adopted daughter's routine for an upcoming school talent show, Gaby pressures Juanita to come up with a number that will outshine everyone; Lynette puts a plan into action to discourage a clearly non-maternal Renee from adopting a baby; and Beth Young struggles to figure out what to do with her life after Paul kicks her out of the house.

"Searching" airs in two weeks, March 6.

To promote the new cycle of 'America's Next Top Model', the host acts like a Valley girl, a model with attitude and a goth.

Promoting the 16th cycle of "America's Next Top Model", Tyra Banks steps up the game by releasing a video where she's typical contestants trying out for the show. Previews: 'Smallville' Goes 'Hangover', 'Supernatural' Goes Meta

Clark, Chloe and the rest of the 'Smallville' gang don't remember what happen in Las Vegas while Sam and Dean are thrown in a world where they're recognized as Jared and Jensen.

Next week, "Smallville" will be taking the same route as hit movie "The Hangover". After Zatanna sends a magically spiked bottle of champagne to Clark and Lois for their bachelor/bachlorette parties, the gang blacks out after the toast, only to wake up the next morning and realize they can't remember anything about the night before.

While trying to retrace their steps, Lois realizes she lost her engagement ring and drags Oliver back to the Fortune Casino where she thinks she lost it... The two run into Fortune (guest star James Kidnie), the eccentric casino owner, who accuses them of stealing money from him. Meanwhile, Clark tells Chloe he has a memory of stealing an armored truck the night before.

"It's our fun Hangover episode," said executive producer Brian Peterson. "Clark won't remember what happened the night before." Erica Durance added, "We all wake up in different places in bizarre situations involving weird outfits and animals."

But "Smallville" is not the only one presenting a unique episode. Its Friday companion, "Supernatural" would do a super-meta episode where the line between fiction and reality is blurred. Sam and Dean are transported to a parallel world where they are mistaken for two actors named Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who star in a TV series called 'Supernatural', which is about two brothers who hunt monsters for a living.

Both "Fortune" and "The French Mistake" would air on February 25 at 8 and 9 P.M. respectively.

Oh no, they've shot Bieber! Justin meets a very bloody end on CSI

By Amy Webber

Ready, aim, fire!: Justin Bieber takes aim during a dramatic standoff with police on his latest episode of popular television show CSI

In a scene that will surely horrify his millions of teenage fans, Justin Bieber has been shot dead on hit TV show, CSI.

The 16-year-old returned to the crime series to revive his role playing troubled teen Jason McCann in an episode titled A Target of Obsession which aired in the U.S. last night.

The action packed episode involved his character McCann in a house bombing but the crafty teen manages to fool the authorities and keep his innocence intact until the case reaches the courts.

As the pieces of the puzzle come together, it becomes apparent that the clever teen played by Bieber is the mastermind behind the house bombing and the police close in.

The result is a dramatic standoff between McCann and the authorities which ends in a storm of gunfire where McCann is shot and avenges his brother’s death with his final breath.

Sources reveal the producers originally wanted Bieber to blow himself up during the standoff but in the end felt a shoot out with the police would be more dramatic.

Fatal blow: Bieber's character, Jason McCann meets his end

Bieber’s fatal wounds ensure this second appearance on CSI will be his last.

McCann’s tragic end on CSI, however, did not dampen the floppy-haired heart throb’s excitement about the airing of his episode.

The teen sensation took to his Twitter account on Thursday evening sharing his excitement about the broadcast tweeting: ‘Everyone back home make sure to tune into CSI tonight!! Jason McCann is BACK!!’

But the question remains, did Bieber’s new love, Selena Gomez, tune in to see her handsome new beau grace the small screen?

The young lovebirds have been spotted holding hands and stealing kisses from Los Angeles to St. Lucia recently but have yet to confirm their relationship publicly.

However, Gomez, 18, did not exactly hide her feelings for Bieber during an interview at the Grammy Awards with the U.S. celebrity news show Access Hollywood.

The raven haired starlet gushed: ‘I love him. He’s been in my life for a very long time. He’s my friend.’

Bieber is currently promoting his new big screen offering - a documentary about his life so far called Never Say Never.

'If I don't have a girl this time, maybe baby No.5': Victoria Beckham teases she may try again if she has another boy

By Emily Sheridan

Family plans: Victoria Beckham admitted she may have a fifth child during her interview with CNN on Thursday

She's already got her hands full with three boys to look after and another baby on the way.

But Victoria Beckham suggested she may try for a fifth child with husband David if their next arrival is another boy.

The fashion designer, who is four months pregnant, insisted she didn't know the sex of her unborn fourth child, but was tempted to find out.

But while she may be prepared to have a fifth child in a bid to have a much longed-for girl, she would stop at becoming a mother of six.

Speaking to CNN yesterday, Posh said: 'If I don't have a girl this time, then maybe I'll be lucky enough and have a girl the next time.'

When presenter Alina Cho questioned the possibility of having a fifth child, Mrs Beckham responded: 'We'd like to have a big family. There could be. Who knows?'

But when Miss Cho suggested having six children, Beckham laughed: 'Well, I'm not Angelina. I don't know. I mean, come on.'

'I'm not Angelina': Beckham told CNN's New York correspondent Alina Cho she would stop short of six kids

The former Spice Girl insisted she didn't know the sex of her unborn child, which is due in July.

She and her husband of 11 years already have sons Brooklyn, 11; Romeo, eight; and Cruz, who turns six on Sunday.

She said: 'Honestly, I don't know the sex of my baby. I might find out when I get back to London because I want to find out now.'

When asked by CNN presenter Alina Cho is she had a 'feeling' about whether it was a boy or girl, she said: 'I don't.'

Unsure: Beckham admitted she find out the baby's sex during her 20 week scan

Insisting she feels 'blessed' with the three boys she has, she concedes 'the clothes would be amazing' should she have a little girl to dress up.

Aside from discussing her pregnancy, Mrs Beckham also discussed her fashion collection and admitted she had been approached by Prince William's fiancee Kate Middleton.

She said: 'She asked to try on some dresses... Should she pick one, that would be great.'

But when asked if she would be a potential designer for Miss Middleton's wedding dress, Beckham said: 'No, no, I'm not ready for a wedding dress yet.'

'American Idol' Group Day Eliminates 68 Contestants

The remaining 100, including favorites like Chris Medina, Jacee Badeaux and James Durbin will sing solo before going to Las Vegas round.

Group Day on "American Idol" this season wilts it down 100 as some notable contestants were sent home. Paris Tassin, who became an early favorite with her soulful voice and her touching story about her hearing impaired daughter, was among the eliminated ones.

Taking the same route as Paris was Rob Bolin whose ex lover Chelsee Oaks passed this stage along with Jacqueline Dunford. And then there was Tiffany Rios who shocked the judges during her audition with the star bras. She was sent home together with duet partner Jessica Yantz.

Meanwhile, Jacee Badeaux almost did not make it when he struggled on the song "Mercy". But then his group explained that he was kicked out of the old one at the last minute and that he did not know the song. Jacee and his group, Brett Loewenstern, Denise Jackson, Stevie Cain and Natalie Hanson, all made it through.

On Thursday night, the remaining contestants will be trimmed to 50 and this batch would be sent to Las Vegas

'Two and a Half Men' Resumes Filming February 28

However, they would only shoot four more episodes, which is 4 fewer episodes than what was originally promised to the network.

Charlie Sheen has the chance to return to work later this month - bosses of his hit comedy "Two and a Half Men" are preparing to resume filming, according to a U.S. report. Work on the show was suspended while the actor had rehab treatment at home in Los Angeles after he was hospitalized in January following a night of wild partying.

He has since said he is desperate to get back on set - and bosses of the CBS show are now planning to restart production on February 28, according to the Hollywood Reporter. But the shooting schedule has been pared back - the website reports only four further episodes will be made for the current season instead of the planned eight.

Simon Baker eclipses Hugh Laurie as top paid actor in a U.S. TV drama series in £280,000 an episode deal for The Mentalist

Nice work if you can get it: Simon Baker will be paid £280,000 per episode for The Mentalist, eclipsing Hugh Laurie's £258,000 per episode for U.S. show House

Actor Simon Baker will shoot to the top of the highest paid actors on U.S. TV with a new deal that will net him an estimated pds280,000 for each episode of The Mentalist.

The Australian star will eclipse Hugh Laurie in House and Laurence Fishburn in CSI as the top paid actors in a drama series.

Baker had been receiving £180,000 for each episode of the hit crime series in which he plays a psychic with unusual powers of observation.

As well as solving crimes he is also hunting for a serial killer called Red John who killed his wife and family.

Hollywood insiders said the new deal is worth up to £20m and guarantees Baker will stay with the show for another three seasons.

Pay rise: The Australian actor had been receiving £180,000 for each episode of the crime series in which he plays a psychic with unusual powers of observation

As part of the new pay package being negotiated with Warner Bros television Baker will get a producer credit on the show.

He will also get a slice of any profits from syndicating the show to other TV stations in the U.S. and worldwide.

The Mentalist, which began in 2008, is one of the most popular shows on US TV and is also screened on Channel Five in the UK.

Hit show: British actor Laurie in the American drama series House

Top comedy earner: Charlie Sheen earns £800,000 per episode for Two And A Half Men

The new deal will see Baker,41, on an estimated £6.5m a year.

It means British star Hugh Laurie has lost his place at the top of the list of highest paid TV dramatic actors.

The 51 year old was the top paid TV star earning just over £258,000 per episode of House.

All three TV actors have a long way to go before they can surpass top comedy earner Charlie Sheen who makes £800,000 per episode of Two and a Half Men.

Baker, who owns two homes in Australia but spends most of his time in Los Angeles with his wife, Rebecca Rigg and three children, began his career on the soap Home and Away.

He also appeared in LA Confidential, but The Mentalist marked his breakthrough role on U.S. TV.

A merry little Christmas: Katherine Jenkins, left, guest stars in the Doctor Who Christmas special alongside Michael Gambon, centre, and Matt Smith, right

It's become as much a part of the celebrations as pudding, opening presents and the Queen's Speech - and now the cast of this year's Doctor Who Christmas special have revealed a sneak peak of just how festive it gets behind the scenes.

The Doctor himself Matt Smith, 28, plus Karen Gillan, 23, who plays sidekick Amy Pond, belt out Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas accompanied by Arthur Darvill, 28, who plays Amy's husband Rory Williams, on piano.

The bit of backstage silliness will be screened on BBC3's Doctor Who Confidential, on at 7pm after the main event on BBC1 - and proves that red-headed Amy has a quite an impressive set of lungs, even if she doesn't manage to quite hit the high notes.

On song: Doctor Who's Karen Gillan, Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill (on the piano bottom right) belt out their rendition of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas in a sneak peak of this weekend's Doctor Who Confidential on BBC Three

In fact, the trio pretty much murder the festive favourite, made famous by Judy Garland in the musical Meet Me In St Louis - but it's all part of the fun of the Christmas Confidential special.

As well as the seasonal singsong, it's set to show all the behind-the-scenes merriment of a good old-fashioned Doctor Who Christmas, which makers are promising will be extra-special this year.

Called Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol, it's based around the Charles Dickens classic and guest stars 20-year-old opera diva Katherine Jenkins as Abigail Pettigrew and Harry Potter star Michael Gambon, 70, as Kazran.

In Doctor Who Confidential, Matt and the cast are to show fans around the show's Cardiff sets and go backstage with the stars of the Dickensian Christmas special.

Michael Gambon meanwhile will also talk about swapping his wizard's wand for a taste of the Doctor's time-travelling magic, Katherine Jenkins waxes lyrical about her acting debut, plus there are interviews with show writer Steven Moffat.

Special guests: Katherine Jenkins joins the cast as Abigail Pettigrew, joined by Michael Gambon as Kazran

Katherine has said of the show: 'This Christmas special is the most Christmassy Doctor Who that they've ever had.

'It has all the brilliant scientific and all the excting parts of DW that it normally has, but there is also running through it a quite emotional heartbreaking story and it's very closely linked to a Christmas Carol.

'People will be moved and relate to it. We've not set out to make people cry over their Christmas dinner, but it's heartwarming.'

'The Doctor is going pretty wild on Christmas day 'cos he's excited. As a Christmas treat, it would be pretty high on my list!'

Though he added darkly: 'There is a shark involved though, yes.'

That's better! Cheryl Cole actually performs live with acoustic set for appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZVEjCsFl14endofvid

[starttext]

By CHRIS JOHNSON

Hitting the right note: Cheryl Cole performed live twice for her appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, which was screened on Channel 4 last night

She caused controversy after miming for two years running on the X Factor.

But last night, Cheryl Cole gave her vocal chords some exercise - with two live acoustic performances as she made an appearance on Alan Carr's show, Chatty Man.

The 27-year-old star began with a pared down rendition of her No.1 single Promise This, which she performed this year on the X Factor.

Looking good: She started with a acoustic version of Promise This, left, wearing a black cut away dress split to the thigh and, right, singing her new song The Flood in a white gown

She was heavily criticised at the time, after it appeared she was lip-syncing large sections of the track during the high-energy dance routine.

It also emerged that the performance was pre-recorded, with X Factor chiefs saying it would have been logistically problematic to have done it live within the show.
This time round, however, Cheryl was clearly singing every word as she stood centre stage in a stunning cutaway black dress.

Feeling festive: The X Factor judge said she was looking forward to spending some time off this Christmas

After being interviewed by Carr, she then finished off with another live performance of her new track, The Flood.

Having earlier changed into a stunning white gown, the Girls Aloud star was accompanied by a couple of backing singers who helped her hit the high notes during the chorus.

The interview itself was punctuated with a series or awkward moments, when Cheryl was subjected to Carr's crude questioning style.

Taken aback: Cheryl was full of laughter and shock as she was subjected to Carr's crude questioning style

That's got a good kick: The host gave the star her favourite drink to sip on during the interview, a Martini with passion fruit

The singer is planning to spend some time out over the festive season, saying Christmas is her favourite time of the year.

'I'll be taking some time out with my doggies, [spending some time with the] family, [eating] Christmas pudding and turkey sandwiches,' she said.

In 2009, Cheryl was criticised for seemingly miming huge chunks of Fight For This Love which she performed on the X Factor.

Stolen kisses: Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev kiss after being crowned the winners of Strictly Come Dancing 2010

They have been caught spending the night at each others houses and set tongues wagging with their obvious chemistry on the dance floor.

And after taking the crown last night, Strictly Come Dancing 2010 winners Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev appeared to confirm the romance their fans have been hoping for.

While celebrating their win last night, the excitement appeared to get the better of Artem, who dropped his guard and planted a kiss on his 27-year-old dance partner.

The pair have hinted at their affection for each other, but have remained coy on whether they are an item throughout the series.

Last night Kara said that now that the competition is over, they can concentrate on the future.

'Fingers crossed,' she said. 'We will see what happens.'

'We get on brilliantly and it will be nice to do normal things like go to the cinema or for a meal because we spend all our time in the studio.'

But the former EastEnders star won't be venturing too far for a little while, after it emerged she was taken to A&E this morning for an arm injury suffered during training.

Emotional: Kara, who recovering at home today with a wrist injury, spoke of her affection for partner Artem after winning

Kara was forced to dance through the pain last night to victory, but after the show she was whisked to hospital where it was revealed she had torn ligaments in her lower arm.

She is now recovering at her parents' house in North London with her arm in a sling, giving 28-year-old Artem the opportunity to take care of her.

'I think we are going to literally not go anywhere today. It'll be quite nice,' she said this morning.

'He's going to cook for me in my mum and dad's kitchen. They've met him and they all get on so well.'

And it seems Artem's family feel the same about Miss Tointon.

In an interview with the News of the World, his mother Anna spoke of her happiness about her son's new love interest.

Speaking from their home in Izhevsk, Mrs Chigvintsev, 60, said of Kara, who she has not yet met: 'She looks really great. They make a beautiful couple which fills my heart with pride and joy.

'I respect my son's choice. He's very fond of her, and she seems to like him too.'

The tension mounts: Kara and Artem and Matt and Aliona wait to find out who has won the competition

'I have made the most wonderful friend for life and this has been the most special experience of my life.

He returned the compliment, adding: 'Thank you, Kara, you're amazing.'

When she found out she and Artem had won, the former EastEnders star burst into tears before hugging Matt Baker and Aliona Vilani.

Despite falling at the final hurdle, finalist Matt said he was thrilled with the result, saying: 'It's been graet. I have absolutely thoroughly enjoyed tonight, and Kara and Artem are worthy winners. If I was at home, I would be voting for Kara as well.'
