I have a request / concern / what ever you would say.
Please do not cirtize if you do not like the idea, just ignore and leave the thread.
There are so many people comming to IV for other experts guidance on different things mainly on H1B status, AC21 status, AP, FP, EAD and H4 to EAD, .....
Why don't you create a general guide lines or rules or do's and don't or QA's for each topic, so that each member or visitor who come to IV can atleast go through them before asking or posting quesitons.
You can create a survery for different kinds of questions people / members / visitors might ask or have fore each topic before creating the thread so that we can have a pool of questions and answers for each topic from experts or attorney answered. (you might say we have recordings from attorney Prashanti Reddy, but it would be good if we have some thing which can be referred easily i.e., typed.
These are just some of my thoughts, it can or cannot be implemented. It depeneds on IV admins/Gurus/Experts on this forum.
Gurus, please provide your thoughts.

I was wondering how the engine is calculating the scaling of the image to change the ViewPort, while zooming in and out. Does the change of ViewPort and the image composition within it depends only on the viewport width?
I have not able to find much greater details on this yet from MS. Would you be able to direct me please to some materials to understand more on Multiscale image control and its working in and out.

Just make the switch,,thats it! Its that simple!! Make sure when u join the new company they file your perm asap and when u r in the 140 stage, you could work with your lawyer to port your old PD. AC21 has made life better!
There are two ways :-
a) Get your H1 transferred and join a new company. You need to complete your new PERM and I-140 before Mar'08 to get your next extension. In this case, you cannot carry over your PD.
b) Wait for your I-140 to be approved. Once it is there, move on, and file your PERM/I-140. You should be able to get your next extension based on the approved I-140 unless it is revoked. Also, you can start your PERM in parallel while waiting for I-140. You can speed up your I-140 by moving it to PREMIUM processing - it involves another 1000 $ of cost. This way you can carry on your PD if you can get a copy of the I-140 when you leave.
There would be other ways too - folks here can enlighten you on the same and if there are any corrections in what I suggested you, they would gladly do it.

forgot to attach my previous employer experience letter

My employer filled EB-2 PERM for me on 12/2007.
My I-140 is approved on 07/2008.
Now I am worry about losing my job.
If this happens, maybe I will switch to NIW pathway later.
Now I wonder whether NIW can use the PD of PERM?
My attorney is not sure about this.

But start on your NIW case soon, it is much easier to get NIW done if you have a job while applying. Also there is no premium processing for NIW yet, so work on it now, dont wait till you get laid off.
Additionally, get a good attorney! NIW case requires a "VERY good attorney", not the one who is not sure of some simple thing like porting of PD.

I finished my MBA in NJ in December 2007 and my OPT period started in Feb 08 and is valid till Feb 09. I had joined a IT consulting company A and they filed my H1 in April 08. Currently I am working in a client company in MA for last 1 month. My H1 application got selected in lottery last week.
I was not happy with my job and I started looking for something in management field. I got an offer from a big company B in Boston and I want to take it. I have 2 pay stubs from IT consulting company A but my H1 is not approved yet. I want to accept company B's offer and I am confused.
My questions are:
1. can company B take over my H1 application at this stage??
2. Can company A cancel/terminate my H1 application at this stage?
3. Does anyone know good immigration attorney in MA?

I fail to understand one fundamental thing with Immigration , GOP and Dems .
The GOP was againt latino immigration and had workplace raids with ICE agents and Dogs and Armed soilders ( we all know what they did ) . They Lost the elections and everyone said it is the lationo vote that caused their downfall.
Now come the Dems who are just dodging the ball cleverly , with Economy , healthcare , Wars all over the globe and so on and also care little about immigration. At tlest the workplace raids have stopped .
I am not latino and from India , as an outsider and onlooker to the entire immigration drama , I would want to ask what real choices do the latio voters have ? They just came out from the Fire( GOP Days earlier ) to Boiling oil( Dems Days now) and now they are complaining that they want to vote the govt out and bring back the old govt that had them in fire . I mean what is these threats all about , when either party does not seem to be interested in doing anything except for paying lip service ? With the current attitude of both the parties they have to either select Fire or boiling oil .
