Hello sdouglas,
That is a problem with Swift and not with your PC configuration. I'm not sure why it would freeze or lockup when importing files. My best advice would be for you to uninstall Swift 3D and re-install it again. The problem should usually be solved. If the problem appears, it could be an error external to that of Swift.
Try re-installing your graphics card drivers if re-installing Swift does not solve the problem. If all else fails, try asking Electric Rain for help. It could be a bug =)

A good friend of mine is getting divorced with her husband. The husband is the primary employment based green card applicant and their dates are current.
Will her I-485 be denied after the divorce?
The husband is willing to wait till the green card is approved before the divorce.

I always carry a letter from Employer and I was asked once at Chicago. The letter says I am employed from this day, my job title, salary, visa status and they expect me to return to the employment after the trip. Hope this helps.

If I understand correctly, once the I-140 is approved, the PD is fixed. Make sure you have all the details of your privious I-140.
you can take up new FT and once the new I-140 is approved and if EB2 July is current at that time, you can ask USCIS to apply that PD to your new I-140. Also the new I-140 needs to be with same or similar job duties / description.

I am one of the unlucky few whu missed the July 2007 filing bonanza by 1 day, based on when my labor was filed.. so if there is an alternate way to assign PD.. I've read conflicting information on whether one is eligible to receive unemployment benefits.
Specifically, i understand as a primary applicant in AOS status, one can not claim such benefits. But how about a derivative spouse, working on EAD , who lost her job? Can she claim such benefits as unemployment insurance. I've read that unemployment insurance should NOT be construed as a public charge, since its paid by the employer , when the employee is working.
So is it safe to get the basic unemployment benefits for a derivative spouse working in AOS status?
