Hi,
I went to US on B1 and came back to india last week, I would like to apply H1 in the current year. Is there any cooling period to apply H1B once come back from US on B1 or Can I start the H1B process immediately.

I would go with Method 2 since you are not taking up resources having all six of the contents in memory - even if their visibility is set to false.

You can change the job peacefully using AC21 since your 485 is pending for more than 6months. Your labor position/location etc doesnt mater. Your current employer cannot do anything but you need to get a copy of labor and I140 from him to use AC21. Also your next job should be same or similar to the one in the labor certification. Hope this helps.

enlisting of all educational institutions attended" section on DS 157 form, I completed my degree late due to backlogs .i.e. I was supposed to complete it in 1996-2000 but I completed it in 2005 due to backlogs and since I had started a job already during my studies.
Now i am confused weather I shall put 1996-2006 or 1996-2000 on dates of attendance of my university in DS 157?

To everyone who reads my post. I apologize for not being clear. The article says that they are talking about eliminating the per country caps and giving green cards to STEM graduates. In my haste and excitement I should have spelled this out. Now with that said I do not appreciate the snide remark from the previous poster. Gurus, My place of birth is different in my passport than that of my birth certificate. I will have the place of birth changed in my passport. Could you pls tell me how difficult/messy is to have the uscis change the place of birth in my h1b petition based on my new passport. I am currently in my second year h1b. please throw light on any possible complications both serious and trifle. I dont have my h1b visa stamped yet. My GC process is going to start soon.

My client is trying to see if there are any possibilities to bring a graphic artist - flash developer from Phillipines, he currently works freelance and has made a big impression with his work. He has shown interest to come to US on h1b and company wants to know if they have any issues in bringing him onboard by sponsering a h1b. The issue is, he does not have college education, other than that, he qualifies excellent for a job in this company. Will he have issues in getting a h1b? Has anyone got H1b visas with college degrees but only with work experience?
