My wife and I will be Canadian Permanent Residents in a few months. I am on EAD with I485 pending and have AP. She is on H1B
We will need to Travel to Canada for Immigrant Landing formalities after we get PR.
How can we enter back in US so that my AOS and her H1B Status is not affected?

i think at re-entry for the 485 pending /AP applicants, there is a POSSIBILITY that the officers could question you bout ur existing employment. For such cases people r adviced to carry the current employers letter along with copy of 485 receipt for safety sake.
with that in mind, if all possible, using ur EAD(after that 180 day rule) , get a job may be collect a paystub or 2 , get a letter and then use the AP.
in many other forums, pple have shared info such as "officer asked me if im still employed with the same employer who filed for GC." etc etc . its better to carry something atleast to prove that when asked.

Besides, depending upon how the "CLASS" is defined- you will not lose your claim if they win the lawsuit.
It does not require you to have filed your case to benefit from the class action , but it depends on how the class has been defined. You can goto Rajiv's website and hear the latest conference call recording which explains his opinion on this.

My Lawyer said that the Premium Processing for I-140 will be again available from 08/16/2007, he said he knows that 100%. Did someone have some information about this ??. Can this be true??
If this is true then some of the concurrent filers will try to upgrade them to PP.I will be surprised if they do that. But crazier things have happened.

My PD is 08/04/06, and my AP is expiring on June 2nd, I probably will have to travel sometimes June end. I am in a fix if I should go ahead and apply for Ap now. My PD will be current begining June 1st. I heard it may take 1 week to 60 days to get GC after your date becomes current, Do you guys think it's good idea to just apply for AP just in case?

I am a software consultant on H1B. I have recently concluded my employment in California for client A and now I have relocated to GA where I am working for client B.
I have the following questions in this regard:
1) Should I do an LCA transfer to the state of GA from CA? + How many days do I have from the date of original relocation to do this transfer?
2) Can I do this paper work by myself or would I need the help of an immigration lawyer? + Any idea of what the average / approximate expense would be?
Any information with regards to this is highly appreciated.

My Son is in India and will be traveling back to US on 1st September 2009 and His passport validity expires on 28th February 2010. Is it necessary for us to renew his passport while he is in India it self for him to enter into US?
Also our H1B validity expires by 14th January 2010.
